I was born in the city; I've grown up here. My uncle taught me all that I know about plants. Thanks to him, I can tell lavender from tulips and poppies. I know the different fruit trees and when each fruit will be in season. I was a little younger than I am now, perhaps two or three years ago in the summer  when I came across a blackberry bush that had yet to flower. I found myself intrigued by it. Was the soil poisoning the bramble? Was it getting enough water? I started to care for it. I'd give it water and check the soil. I don’t care about what happened in your past. I wont judge you for that. Please understand, I admire you because you are the person you are now, shaped by what happened to you when you were who you’re now not. Please understand, I surround myself with people that make me feel happy and loved. If you are a friend of mine, you have the capacity to do that, even if it is by merely being near me. People have their bad days, sure. I do too. Please understand. People wont stop being your friend because of a bad day. People that do that have no friends left in the real world (the internet has lies and fake perfection, so they’d a
